The sum of the numbers on each circle is always 138. If we take away the central number (i.e. 9), then the sum of the numbers in each straight line is also always 138.

If we take away the central number, 9, we can reconstruct this magic circle into a magic polyhedron. The top and bottom faces of the polyhedron are regular octagons, just like the innermost and the outermost circles of the above figure. These circles have 8 numbers on them, similar to the corners of an octagon. This polyhedron is of 8 sides. Each side is in the shape of a bulging octagon.
The top octagon is composed of the numbers 10, 22, 7, 30, 2, 18, 25, 24 at its corners (sum = 138). These numbers are the numbers of the innermost circle of figure 3.
The bottom octagon is composed of the numbers 20, 33, 12, 4, 6, 8, 28, 27 at its corners (sum = 138). These numbers are the numbers of the outermost circle of figure 3.
The side octagons (as viewed from one side; the octagon actually is not flat.) are composed of the following numbers: (These numbers are the numbers of 2 adjacent branches of figure 3.)

In the processing of the above research, I also created two other similar magic circles:

P.S. The above research is to convert a 2-dimensional magic figure into a 3-dimensional magic diagram. In a 2-dimensional magic circle, if we only focus on the outermost circle, the 2 numbers in the directly opposite positions are not connected together. These 2 numbers, however, are connected in a 3-dimensional magic diagram. This is similar to us, human beings, living in a 3-dimensional world (or 4-dimensional if time is included). We cannot pass through wall to go inside a closed room because we are confined to our 3-dimensional world. Jesus Christ, however, entered a closed room without breaking the wall or door to meet his disciples (John 20:19 & 26). Jesus Christ must be in control of some extra dimensions, beyond our 3-dimensional world (or 4-dimensional if time is included).

Because God is almighty, so His ability cannot be confined by the limited dimensions in which we are living. Or, even if the universe is composed of n dimensions, and n tends to infinity (n ), then God may exist in at least n + 1 dimensions, so that He can effectively manage the universe. But if this is so, does it mean that God is confined by the n + 1 dimension? Similar to Jesus, due to self-confinement to our 4-dimenional space, he carried difficultly the heavy cross to Golgotha, and the Roman soldier seized a man from Cyrene to carry it for him. Does it mean that Jesus Christ cannot carry the cross easily, or as in the later time, he cannot come down from the cross? This is due to his self-confinement, self-confined to our existing 4-dimensional world. Back to the first question, God is not confined by the n + 1 dimension, where n tends to infinity (n ). In this way, does it mean that God exist in the n = dimension? This is an abstract concept. We can think in this way, God is not confined by the concept of n dimensions in mathematics or science, and He can act by breaking the logic in mathematics or science. An old question: Can God lift up a stone that He cannot lift?[note] Similar to the above inference, the stone, that cannot be lifted up, is due to God's self-confinement to the n-dimensional space in which the stone exists. He can simply lift it up through the n + 1 (or even larger) dimension. I am pondering about a question: Is there any correlation between eternity and the n = "dimension"? Written on April 19, 2009. By the same token, we can draw a circle and a dot in one continuous pencil movement on a piece of paper. This circle and the dot are separately located, not connected. How? Please think for a moment before you click for the answer. That means a puzzle which cannot be solved on a 2-dimensional plane, can be solved in a 3-dimensional environment.
